Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (July 5-10)
Brooklyn Bodega Presents the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival 2010, which is much more than an outdoor concert or block party but rather a jubilant celebration of Hip-Hop music and culture. Going beyond the beats, this festival embraces an intellectual view of Hip-Hop and its effect on fashion, art, graffiti and dance. Watch the video for a quick look into the sights and sounds.

Pulled-Pork Sandwiches @ Brooklyn Ice House
Despite its name, the Brooklyn Ice House is far from a freezer, with a fire-hot barbecue that serves piping hot sweet potato fries, smoky pulled-pork sandwiches and smoked-brisket sliders. Due to its ridiculously low price (2 for $5) for their delectable taste, their pork-pulled sandwiches, which come with a mountain of marinated onions, are a ‘cue-lovers slice of heaven.
